SLIDE CORE UNITS FOR TWO–COLOR MOLDING (SLIDE AMOUNT 3mm)
■ What is Slide Core Units for Two–Color Mold? If the two–color molded product has an undercut that is processed by an outer slide, a slide core with a special structure that holds the undercut part even after the primary molding is completed is required. A slide core with such a structure requires a larger space than a normal slide core, is complicated in design, and is difficult to assemble and adjust. The slide core units for two–color mold (SCTM) uses a special structure that uses an angular cam lock pin to save space and is easy to design, assemble and adjust. ■ Operating sequence of slide cores units for two–color mold Primary molding ① Mold open state ② Mold closure (slide core is advanced by the primary side angular cam to lock the slide core), molding of the first color ③ Mold opening while holding the primary molded product (undercut part) Secondary molding

• Angular cam, slide core, and guide rail are included as a set, eliminating the need for diagonal hole drilling and reducing machining costs. (Please manufacture the core part in–house.) • No need for troublesome calculations such as slide strokes. ■ Notes • This product is developed for injection molding die. Do not use for any other purpose. • Be sure to apply grease to the sliding surface to prevent it from burning.
