■ Example of Mounting TL • Sliding parts of the tension links have 1mm clearance so that the mold can be opened and closed without coming in contact with the plate. • In order to prevent bolt damage in plate on movable side, please use special retainer (LKR/LKRH) for tension links or special bolt (LKB/LKBH) for tension links. Use with counterbore of 2mm in the plate as shown. This protects the bolts from damage as the retainer takes place for them to receive impact load caused by the tension link upon mold opening. ■ Example of Mounting TLH • In order to prevent bolt damage in plate on fixed/movable side, use special bolt (LKB/LKBH) for tension links. • Use it by creating a 3mm counterbore on the plate as shown in the figure. • The bolt's shaft receives impact load caused by the tension link, protecting the bolt itself from damage.
