GUIDE FOR QUICK–FITTING JOINTS FOR MOLD COOLING –INTEGRATED PLUG/SOCKET–
GUIDE FOR QUICK–FITTING JOINTS FOR MOLD COOLING –SEPARATE PLUG/SOCKET– FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE (HEAT RESISTANT 99°C SERIES)
■ Overview

● Structure of L–shaped Joint
Allows quick and easy attachment/detachment of a plug (joint part), socket (thread part) and tubes. Keeps the mold clear of any protruding socket parts once the plug is pulled out. Allows use of heat transfer medium, water (fresh water) and air as fluid. The thread part is applied with heat resistant sealing, eliminating the need for sealing tape, etc. (This sealing remains effective for 2 or 3 times of installation; use sealing tape, etc. for subsequent usage.)

● Tube/Insert Sleeve Installation/Removal
③ Attaching the plug Push the plug into the socket until it firmly sits. Lightly pull the plug to make sure that it is not loose. If the plug is not firmly attached, it may unexpectedly come out or cause water leakage.
① Attaching tubes (with insert sleeves) • Check if the tube end is squarely cut (in the right angle), and it is not damaged or deformed. • Make sure to use an insert sleeve to prevent the tube from coming off or leaking. • Insert the tube fully up to the tube end (C dimension). (Please refer to specifications for each product for C dimension details.) • Lightly pull the tube to make sure that it will not come out. ② Detaching the tube • Push the tube release ring evenly, and pull the tube toward you. (Pushing the release ring unlocks the tube lock.)

■ Notes
Standard heat resistant 60°C series
For High temperature heat resistant 99°C series
Before removing the plug, make sure to check that the pressure inside the tube has come down to zero and the temperature of the fluid (water) to below 30°C. Do not touch the plug's release sleeve when the pressure is turned on. Keep the quick–fitting mold joint free of load (such as tension, torsion and bending) to protect it from damage. (This may result in damage of joint body.) Do not apply percussion flow (water hammer) to the joint. Make sure to use an insert sleeve to prevent the tube from coming off or leaking.
